Battlefield Restoration Grants Given To Civil War Battlefields In Pennsylvania, Virginia

Huntsberry Farm at Third Winchester Battlefield, Winchester, Virginia/Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation Civil War battlefield sites in Pennsylvania and Virginia are the first recipients of Battlefield Restoration Grants issued by the National Park Service. This new grant program funds projects that restore “day-of-battle” conditions at nationally significant American Revolution, War of 1812, and Civil War battlefields and associated historic sites.
